Most likely. Collectors of hundred dollar notes usually want them CU.

What were these $100s change from? Did you break a $500 somewhere?

@CelticKnot LOL no I used to have a $500 and a $1000 bill but they were stolen. I cashed a check at the bank to make a farm payment and these were in my "change" back!

@Coinfrog it's a sad story so I won't elaborate...drug addicted Granddaughter stole 100 Krugerrands, the two bills mentioned, my Rolex and my wedding ring. Her boyfriend was caught pawning the coins for $200 each. I didn't have insurance on any of it and didn't recover anything. We didn't press charges. She's been in and out of rehab for fifteen years but never could come clean and is currently sentenced to jail for five years for the last time she was caught.

@Coinfrog, you're always so helpful so I wondered if you would answer a question for me? I never would have known that you asked about my stolen notes if I hadn't been scrolling down through my posts. Is there an easier way to tell if I have a comment to respond to w/o going to tools then my topics and scrolling through all my old posts? Sorry for the ignorance but Ive worked outside all my life and really just picked up a computer and coin searching last winter! Thank you

@ccobb... oh wow... I am so sorry to hear that. just heart wrenching. Also... I'm not aware of a way to be notified if someone asks you a question within a post. Maybe we need the "@" functionality added to CCF so you can know when you're asked a question or referred to. Pretty sure that would involve a LOT of coding... I think if you use the "New Posts" feature, that will get you pretty close.
