1882 O/S VAM Question Strange Looking

CapeCoralCoins New Member United States 28 Posts	Posted 04/24/2019 01:35 am Dear VAMers, I just found this coin (don't have it in Hand yet, will be shipped to me) and am a little confused, as this to me doesn't exactly match VAM-3, 4 or 5. Also, the strange coloured area next to the mintmark, what could this be? Sorry for the not so perfect Pictures, maybe somebody out there has an idea about this coin.
