Went to a flea market this morning. A dealer there that sells coins said hey do I have some nice Mercury dimes for you. All were in minimum of about Fine or better. One 1945 was AU. All were prior to the 30's date wise and all were either S or D mints. 18 total. In addition one Liverty Head Dime of a common 1910 but AU and one seated Liberty of about Fine. One 1920S Buffalo nickel. All for $30. Next table was a guy selling mostly shampoos, bath oils, etc. However, he also had those bottles of pre-electric shave solutions and for $1 each. Usually in store about $3 or more. Also, one bottle of window cleaner. So why am I boring you with that? Well since this last guy didn't have a bag, I stupidly put all that in the same bag with the coins. Walked around for a while, went for breakfast with some people, finally went home and brought the bag into the house. Hey what is that dripping from the bag. OOOPPPS. One of the bottles of pre-electric stuff wasn't closed completely. No problem though. The coins were all in 2x2's so the cardboard soaked up all that excess stuff. Now drying so hopefully no permanent damage. Just one of those days.

So sorry for what must have really gotten on your nerves. I have had a day like that recently (not with coins but I will share) I recently went shopping for my daughters upcoming birthday. I bought a lot of arts and crafts supplies and stickers and things like that, I also bought a bunch of new dresses, photo frames and for mom...... dish soap. I try to lessen the amount of handles I am have to hold so I just shoved smaller bags into bigger bags without realizing that the clerk who packed my bag put the dish soap in upside down. This took me a while to notice but basically I ended up with no arts and crafts, no stickers, and some VERY lemony fresh dresses. I feel your pain :)

Not quite like that but, yesterday, went to jury duty in the morning, then locked keys in car, then driving home my radiator blew up on me. Had to call AAA out again! Guess all you can do is

Not much of a coin seller selling you all that for half what the Barber was worth.

This was Pre-electric shave toning. I'll probably do the after shave toning next time. Things just don't get better. Last week my computer mouse stopped working so I took the computer in to where it was built. Instead of fixing that they gave me a USB mouse instead of the PS2 port mouse. Got home and the card reader was missing so took it back today. CArd reader reinstalled but doesn't work. Also, second hard drive now no longer works so tomorrow back with that. On the way home I stopped at a store. Bought some groceries. One loaf of bread was inbetween the computer and the rest of the stuff so naturally when I made a turn somewhere, everyting smashed against the bread so now the entire loaf looks like one slice. Just one of those days. At least the coins from yesterday appear OK so far.

Sounds like next time you have a computer built, you need to tell them not to use junk parts.

Sounds like I should just stay home for a few weeks untill this all goes away. Hoever, at a flea market today that same dealer was there and said he found some more Mercury dimes for me. I told him what happened the other day and he felt sorry for me so sold me seven more for $7.00 Got home and found one was a 1930S and a 1931D in at least Fine. Two were 16S's but in only G4. Maybe my luck is changing.
