That's pretty cool. I keep thinking/hoping I'll find something like that next time they renovate my house but considering it was built in 1977 it seems highly unlikely.

Amazing story. The $1.95 she had in her purse would be worth over $50 in today's buying power. The "cents" were the equivalent of today's "quarters".
