Hello I am new here. I am pretty sure I'm posting this in the wrong form. Sorry about this. Feel free to point me in the right direction. I found this quarter and I'm guessing this is a cracked die line, then again I could be wrong.. Thank you.

the two leafs that touch the eagles right wing, on the inner left part of the right wing. The branch of leafs, the tip of the right branch, look at the last set of leafs. looks to be like a line that is shaped kinda like a leaf. I have other pictures and tried the photo thing to get it under 300 but the photos I saved it was still bring back the same "photo is to big". I will mess around with it more today and try to get more photos up. Hopefully I explained the area I'm questioning about decently enough for people to see it and get some input in return.

If it is a die crack, it must be pretty small. to the CCF!

I don't know what it is. That's my question. What would this be called?

That is part of a die clash. Part of the lower hair area.

Coop, so let me get this right. You're say this coin is a die clash. Correct? I literally started thinking that this morning but I didn't want to put it out there and be wrong. Lol thank you for your thoughts and input. Also thank you for the picture you posted.

Sometimes a clash happens stronger on different areas. But that was the only thing I could think of that could affect that area of your coin. The most fommon clashes are on the beak/wing area: They call this a spitting eagle, but to me it looks more like a drooling eagle. Note the green arrows to see the affected areas.

It does look like the eagle is drooling. Lol. Well thank you for the information. I should post my coin. Matter of fact I will.

Note the flow lines on the fields? The mushy devices? The die that struck that coin is a die that has reached retirement. Thy why it does look normal. Fresher die:
