Does-This-Look-A-Little-Thick?

I see thicker devices all over especially in the 1982 D . Does anyone agree?

It is probably a large date cent. All the devices are larger on them compared with the small date coins. It's common to think it's a doubled die. It was deceived a lot of new collectors. Look up the doubled dies for that year and look at them. It probably won't help, but seeing the side by side, with a normal set of devices an a doubled die, then you realize the differences.
