Found this 1937 penny today in my jar. Seems to be a misprint/error as the spot does not resemble (in my opinion) damage that could have been done after printing. I could be wrong. What do you think?
@npb, first welcome to CCF. Second, while it is always nice to find wheat cents, sorry but this one has been damaged. More specifically, someone has applied a large amount of pressure with a round flat object (like the head of a nail) to the front of the coin, thus also damaging the back of the coin.
