I'm new to the coin collecting thing and this dime looked interesting to me! I'm willing to bet it is after mint damage, but I wanted to be sure before I tossed it aside. Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
Just damaged. That damage seems to be in line with what is called a " Dryer Coin", caused when a garment is washed with a coin in the pocket and the coin tumbles around for hours in a dryer. Could also be a classic case of "bored individual with a power sander and buffer".
