I just wanted to know what varieties were listed in the Small Cent Variety extra pages or if there were extra pages dedicated to Small Cent varieties.

If yes, what does it say about 1983 Far and Near Beads?

@pasasap

Yes - 2016 Volume 1 has a small cent variety section.

1983 there are pictures of each variety (near & far) and the near is valued at 2x - 2.5x the far variety. In fact the data in the additional pages is little different from the regular 1983 description. In the 2012 volume 1, the varieties are similarly described. I wouldn't go hunting for a 2016 Volume 1 if that is the only coin you want to research.

It looks like the near beads is the normal and the far beads is the variety. I always thought the near beads is the one to look for . http://coinsandcanada.com/coins-pri...nt-1965-1989

That variety section was the last thing I ever did for Bill Cross, before he retired and sold Charlton Press.
