The glare on the tops of the devices is not showing what you are seeing. Try rotating the coin allowing the light to fall over the devices, not being a spotlight on that area. That might show us more?

I believe I see a notch at the top left of the D in DOLLAR, and on the bottom of ARTER. so maybe. The glare is hiding a lot though.

I believe you have a DDR on your hands. Now you just have to figure out which one and the stage.

Wexler has a huge DDR on the WDDR-001. The WDDR-002 might be close:

Quote:
1964-D 25¢ WDDR-002
Description: A close spread towards the center shows on both of the branch ends and some of the serifs in QUARTER DOLLAR.
Die Markers: Obverse: None significant. Reverse: A small die gouge (dot) can be found to the right of the T in UNITED.

Keep in mind that some of the images have machine doubling. It is the minor notching that were are looking at, not the MD.

I have the WDDR-001. its not that. I can see doubling on the both stems I changed to a different lighting. I can't see a die gouge (dot) right of the united T. But I will I assume its 002. Thanks Guys!
