Wished I had a better micros. But still dont need a microscope to spot this one. Coin is in XF condition, but I will be sending this one for value regardless.

Not an RPM. Just circulation wear and damage. Also, there's not a single RPM listed for 1983 D.

Yes of course someone has to find the first one. With that said, I think that you'll find if you submit it to a TPG, it will come back without a RPM designation.

I would think that over the last 36 years with the possibly 100's of thousands that were
minted, if that was a new RPM it would have been discovered by now.

I was told that Whatever is under the mint mark, is showing nice thickness.
