XF45 decent eye appeal. I find the toning a bit grungy.

Seems like the 45s have it so I'll break with the crowd: XF40.

I don't usually go for coins that toned, but it is a nice coin.

This is a beauty! Depending on the day and who graded it, this is between 40 and 45. If it were mine, I'd slap a 45 on it and sleep good at night. Quote: XF45 decent eye appeal. I find the toning a bit grungy. I would hate to see this coin white. Toning is subjective, but this is a beautiful coin to a seasoned collector of older pieces. I wouldn't change a thing about this coin even if I could.

Jpbone I agree and understand. I believe that the black toning near the rims is a bit meh. But otherwise nice

EF-40. It appears to have had an old harsh cleaning and retoned in an album.

This one came back as damaged unfortunately. Perhaps the reverse marks above the wing? Genuine XF Details (98 - Damage)

Probably a mix if an old cleaning and the scratch above the wing. Not a bad looking coin.
