Got this coin a few days ago at a LCS. I've been looking at coins so long, I see the same dates of classic coins over and over. When I see a date that is less common, if I don't have one, I'll buy it if it is in decent shape and a fair bit. I know she is a bit of a dog, but what would y'all grade it. I have it as a straight G-6. $20 is at stake.

Looks pretty nice for the heavy wear and yes, it is a better date and should grade Good. Compare your $20 purchase to this VG8 that sold for $70 on David Lawrence Rare Coins: https://www.davidlawrence.com/rare-coin/381868/ Looks like a $20 well spent.

Yea, this obverse marks ore on the holder or trapped material in the holder.
