Would anyone know if it was pretty common for mercs.
in the mid 40's (date wise) to have: In "Cod" We Trust
Normal die wear etc. ? on the G in God to make it a C

Just thought I had read about it somewhere sometime ago.
I just picked up a 45-P (just bullion value) and noticed
the G looked like a C No curl.
