These are both worn, are either of these the L variety? The neck looks a little different to me, but it might just be me.

I'm gonna guess "no" on both accounts. I think the "L" variety has a pointer bust than what is shown here. Maybe someone else might think differently?

can you take a photo where the L is supposed to be? I know on my IHC (which isn't this date by the way) has a L in the head band part behind where the diamonds are, maybe we will be able to see whats left of it if we can see some pictures of this area, or is it just to worn to make out any details in that area at all?

those look like rounded busts to me. So, no L.
