Hey hey diggers!
As promised I got back on some pretty good fields with some decent finds.
Got a new site and had to go back to an old favourite to pick up what was left behind from the last time.
Although these coins weren't in great shape it was still was a good day digging with some finds.
Lots of tokens from maritime Canada and even a few imports.
The Speed the Plough was in good shape and a worn Irish token (Kyan Camac 1790s) and the latest being a large cent.
Even picked out a really toasty Flying Eagle cent, not a common find in these parts.
Next time out I'm hoping for more of the same and maybe even catch one good enough to put in my collection.
Until next keep those batteries charged up!

Nice finds, I would give a wash with soap and hot water and then put them in acetone overnight . I don't think you could do any damage. Nothing to lose and some may clean up nicely.

Once again, a nice selection of finds.

I can only dream of finding a Flying Eagle.

thanks 999fine...its always a guessing game, you never know what could show up next

thank you chipjones...I'm feeling theyre about as clean as they need to be for me, I'll save my resources for something better, just need to be patient and keep working toward that one!

Thanks again PaulB...I think that's my third maybe fourth one in over twenty years, they don't turn up often but they do, but sadly they're all toasty...our soil isn't kind to them

thank you Palouche....the green patina isn't for everyone but I like it when its consistent and all over the coin, too me its attractive. I'm glad you appreciate it too
