1980 yes. 1981 save for when cents are scarce or send back.

Yes, open 1980. There's a major Doubled Die Obverse known for that year. https://coppercoins.com/lincoln/die...ie_state=mds

1980 has a nice DDO:
1980,-And-1981-Worth-Even-Looking
http://www.varietyvista.com/01b%20L...O%201980.htm
But nothing for the 1981 on that site
No DDR's on that site for either year.

Wexler list one DDO and one DDR for 1980:

1980-D one DDR:

1981 One DDO and one DDR

1981-D one DDO:

Unsure of why you saved that many circulated coins of those two dates, but searching sounds like a low-return proposition to me.

Coinfrog:
bcbarranch is going through a bank box and was asking if it was worth the effort to check these dates or skip them.

I made a mistake. The 1981should be given a once over .There are things that can happen in any year. Two that come to mind are Cuds and rotated dies.
