I thought David Tripp's book "Illegal Tender: Gold, Greed, and the Mystery of the Lost 1933 Double Eagle" was better researched and covered the story more in-depth. I think Alison's book was written with more drama and read better as a story, it was hard to put down and easy to finish. "Buy the Book Before You Buy the Coin" - Aaron R.
