I have some slabbed problem coins that I'd like to sell. I haven't sold any coins before so I'd like some advice. What venues would be the best for selling these kinds of coins? I am not in any hurry to sell and I wouldn't mind selling them slower for a higher price. Also, some of the coins in "Cleaned" holders are sort of borderline cases and I'm wondering if it would be better to crack these out and sell them as raw. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
These are all relatively low value coins, nothing above $200 or so.
I should add that all these coins fall within the "US Classic Coins" category, which is why I posted this here. Feel free to move it though if this is the wrong forum. Edited by Ariette 05/10/2019 11:32 am

I would but the buy/sell section says you need 250 posts to sell stuff

Sounds like ebay should be under consideration.

The only places you will avoid fees all together or in person sales and I would NEVER sell a coin on craigslist. You can try a dealer but low value details coins they probably won't even want. Anything online you're either going to pay a fee to the venue such as Great Collections or you're going to at least have to pay PayPal. ebay is almost certainly your best bet for what you described but you can compare it with Great Collections and see. You can try Instagram too and see if it'll sell.

You should check into greatcollections.com I've sold many coins through them both low and high priced with good results.

As long as your not in a hurry, just do a lot of posting here for a while. Your not to far from the 250 mark now.
