2001 P Vermont Die Deterioration Or Extreme Wear?

coin rejector Pillar of the Community United States 2852 Posts	Posted 05/10/2019 6:26 pm Not quite certain what to make of this coin. At first glance it appears extremely worn & in terrible condition. But @ the 9 o'clock position there is a surface rise just under Washington's nose which extends down to the "ER" in Liberty & then inward toward the jaw line. The reverse rise is similar @ 9 o'clock just under the left bottom branch of the left tree. Die Deterioration or just extreme wear? Thanks for the input. Report this Post to the Staff
