1962penny Valued Member United States 173 Posts	Posted 05/14/2019 01:13 am Hello everyone; recently bought this at my LCS for pretty cheap. I just want to verify that an error this dramatic can actually happen? Dont want this to be any sort of fake. I wish the date had got minted into it, but it is made of copper, so it must be 1982 or before. thanks for the input! Just looking for a second opinion. I know the pictures arent the best in terms of showing grade, but id put the minted part at AU; all the details are there. the rest of the planchet has some scratches and such. and I'm assuming not being able to view the date will make it less valuable..
