Kinda looks like linear trail plating bubbles because of the rounded look to them. If they were not rounded,I would think die gouges.

They have never made a penny. Note all say cents, not penny. Try buying an album that says U.S. Penny on it. They all are 'cents' Great Brittan stuck pennys and half pennies:

But non collectors call them pennies. Note a roll says pennies and also 50C. (The 'C' is for cents)

This might be an angled bar cent. It looks like it from what I can see. I've not seen one like it yet. Keep it safe. It maybe a new die number?
