Firstly, thanks to those who helped on my first post/topic.

Next, came across this 1941 Jefferson nickel with some strange coloration/stripes (?) on the obverse (which I am guessing is just discoloring from environment or something similar.

However, on the reverse at the bottom, I can't figure out the cause of what I am seeing...is this peeling? Is this some sort of lamination error? Or is this damage? It doesn't look like normal damage.

Thanks again for any help!!

As far as I know, there is only one type of 1941 Jefferson nickel. Beyond that, yes, I believe there is a lamination flaw on the lower reverse.

. On the obverse, that streak might be from an alloy mixing error or just a neat toning thing.

Now that I look at it more, that discoloring appears to be on the reverse as well, above the area with the peeling.
