coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/17/2019 7:56 pm There was no 'S' mintmark punch then. The mint was closed in 1955. Re-opened in 1965. The 'S' mintmark didn't appear again until 1968. Report this Post to the Staff
