The title says "struck through ... die cap" but the description mentions "struck through capped dies." It conjured an image in my head of a complete coin die laying on its side with another die coming down on it to strike a planchet below. It doesn't seem it would end well. Of course, the correct term is "struck through die cap." Always thought the correct term was struck through capped die. But thinking about it, yes, struck through die cap makes more sense. Looking it up I see that the error type is called a "capped die strike" but the coin is a "struck through die cap". Thanks for noticing that as I like to get the labels right.
