Skippy72 Valued Member United States 447 Posts	Posted 05/22/2019 07:26 am Good morning everyone I have looked at this coin over and over again so as not to put it on here if it was obvious that it's not what I think it is but I know what I am seeing and that is a defined D on top of a P. I don't know how this could be possible especially from two different mints across the country from each other. And again I know what I see but I can't explain why so I am asking your thoughts here are a few images... Report this Post to the Staff

Big-Kingdom Pillar of the Community United States 1667 Posts	Posted 05/22/2019 4:27 pm Looks like a P to me. the D isn't that small. both mint marks are the same size in height so if it was a D over a P somehow, it would look either like a blob, or a "B" or "8" shape. the lower part of the P would be visible in the center of the D. Damage or a Die chip I think, hard to tell because of the blur, but must be one of the two. Report this Post to the Staff
