1980-P Washington Quarter... Extra Chunk Of Medal On Reverse?

briarmentrout Valued Member United States 244 Posts	Posted 05/25/2019 03:49 am What could have caused this? it honestly looks like theres an extra chunk of medal on top of the coin.. the obverse is terrible worn, but there are no indented hits that would push it out?
