I found a 1984 DD Earlobe. The DD is also in the chin and beard. I was at the Lincoln Cent Resource site and they say the bowtie has the DD in it. Well I can't see it in that. All else checks out. I compared about 10 other 1984's and it is diffently a DD Earlobe. The penny is still red but some wear on the the high spots. What do these usally go for , have any idea. Should I get this penny slabbed. Don't know what to do with it.

can you get a scan if possible, I've been searching through a mess of these and I'm curious to see what one that isn't the stereotypical one looks like.

What condition is it in? The Lincoln Resource site gives an idea on price, but only for MS quality.

I would guess the cost to slab it would be equal or more than the value. I have seen some AU go for about the $20 range several months ago. A photo would help.
It is said to be popular, but I like the second 1984 DDO ( 2-O-II) FS1-038 much
better and it is usually much less expensive since it isn't in the RedBook.

I have a crappy camera , but I will give it a try tomorrow. They have the RD at $275 and RB at $170. It's listed as #5 in DD's on their list.
