I'm wondering if anyone recognize this coin, could it be english? The cross looks like it might be Henry II?

Hello and !

It doesn't look like an English coin to me. The only silver coin minted in England at that time was the penny and the king's portrait is quite distinctive. I'm no expert on hammered coins, but to me it looks more like a French denier.
