I know this isn't really the proper forum for this, but I couldn't find a forum for world error coins, and it relates to a question I've encountered about similar US coins. Can anyone tell me what is causing the inner "rim" on this dime? Is it Die Deterioration?
Thanks, that was what I figured. I still don't really understand what causes Die Deterioration Doubling, and the resources I've found seem to only describe it by appearance rather than how it actually works.
