This coin has a groove all the way around the sides.

Hi, Igotit. This topic probably needs to be relocated.

I'm no expert on Eurocents but I think that's standard for 2 Eurocent coins. The one I pulled from my stash has the same groove.

All 2 euro cent coins have this feature. It was partly intended to make the different denominations easier for blind people to identify.
