John 1 - thanks.

A question: The dot above the A is almost twice the size of a normal dot (or at least 1/3 larger). Will a "Dropped Letter" enlarge like that? Do you happen to have a link to any Dropped Letter examples which show a larger size than the normal letter?

Or a die dot. A small area fell off the die on the field, or the field was damaged on the die. There are probably several of these out there? They would all come from the same die. There maybe other examples that could before that die even happened. I didn't consider a die chip, as they didn't happen then as often as they do now on the new coins. (Different die processes then and now)

On older coins die rust could leave a raised island on coins:

Keep it for now. There has to be several out there. You might check ebay auctions and see if any are showing that same thing that year. PCGS changed it format, so all you can see are about 9 examples for that site now.
