Unidentified Buffalo 5 Cent Error- Help

Hello coin community. My girlfriend found this and gave it to me knowing about my newly found hobby 6 months ago and I didn't think anything of it.

After getting a good microscope and loupe and checking this out recently..I realized this has both images on both sides.

Can anyone tell me what I have here.

Environmental Damage/staining from Post Strike Damage ( PSD). Not an error coin, but still a keeper, since it's a Buffalo nickel.

@rch, your new camera is producing some great pics! It sounds like you think you have a die clash, but this would be in metal. Those dark patches are just surface staining as noted by @e&v.

It is possible that your coin has adhesive residue on it. Leftover glue from shenanigans can create the appearance of a reverse image on either side of the coin. I hope that makes sense. Acetone may be able to remove that and reveal a normal coin.

Try an Acetone dip to see what you really have.
