Hello everyone,

I recently purchased a type 1 (no rim) cupro-nickel blank planchet at a local coin show. I have tried to identify it myself, but can't. I'm hoping someone here may recognize the specs. It weighs 4.1 grams and has a 20.6 mm diameter.

I tried to upload a photo, but the image was taken with my phone and ends in .png
I guess I'll have to figure out how to convert .png to .jpeg or something else that works.

Any help is appreciated.

I suggest do an "advanced search" on numista, putting in the weight and diameter as the search parameters.

Otherwise this would be a very difficult task-and no guarantee that this is a coin-maybe it is a token blank.

Thank you Errers and Varietys.

I'm actually a bit technologically challenged, I gave it a shot, and couldn't quite get it. I'll keep trying though, I know it's user error.

Thanks again!
