Good afternoon ladies and gentleman, I have been a lurker on this board for a long time and I finally have find of my own! If anyone would kindly look at these pics and explain to what is going on with the rim on this 1966 Quarter. Thank you and it's very appreciated.

Looks like a slight die misalignment. Could you show us the reverse?  to the CCF!

Looks like Rim Finning to me. Tilted Die strike?

@kuoer, I'm really glad that you are now becoming a more active participant here on CCF. As a lurker, you know how much we prefer to have correctly oriented photos. I am told that this rotation can occur when you hold your phone vertically for the pic rather than horizontally (i.e. In both hands). Otherwise, yes we need to see the reverse of this coin to understand fully what you have there. Thx!

I agree with the tilted die theory. This one is a wider fin. So it may have moved after the strike. Any Machine Doubling present on either side?
