Looks like glue on the reverse. Perhaps the coin was glued to a display at one time.

What makes you think it is glue? It looks and feels like metal to me.

We do see many coins with glue, so that was first guess. I suppose it could be solder that was added to the coin after it left the mint. It is probably worth about $1.

to CCF.Might be solder,might be epoxy. Either way it is some type of adhesive.

Definitely Post Strike Damage ( PSD), not an error coin.
