This is probably going to be my last post for at least a couple months. I've got to go to work for the next 60 days but will make some peoples year salary in that time. My office the Gulf of Mexico. This is the FS-101. Highest known example and it's not even graded as it. I wouldn't post it but the price will scare most people. If I was offering I would start below 2k!

Thanks frog. I'm hoping PCGS gives the results of those coins I sent in today or tomorrow morning!

Wow! That's definitely a DDO! Incredible! Unfortunately, it's way out of my price range too.

That's a DDO? The value I posted is not for a DDO.

That one is a nice die state. Too bad they don't mention that on the slab. But those with a keen eye can spot it.

Yes John1. The one in the ebay listing is clearly a Class 6 DDO, but it's not noted on the slab at all. It's FS-101. http://www.varietyvista.com/01a LC Doubled Dies Vol 1/1925SDDO001.htm

That is one huge office.
One question if you don't mind. On,above or below?

If you do mind then just tell me to flake off.

That coin is gone. Either someone bought it or the seller saw or was told about their coin. I hope one of you guys got it!

Someone either bought it or tipped the seller off, as the auction closed a few hours after this thread was posted. I'll be curious to see if it pops up correctly attributed in a registry set.
