Did I just find what I think I found? My other 1988 no mint pennys don't have this same ear so it's this one it or are my other 1988 Penny's errors? Let me know because it's one of these coins that have the error I'm just not sure wich one is the error coin. I think this one is because that ear is layers on layers and looks similar to me to the videos on youtube but a little different tho. Let me know, I appreciate every comment thank you

A normal coin that has taken a very well placed hit on the ear from Post Strike Damage ( PSD). Not an error coin unfortunately.

Sometimes it is wise to back off on the macro photography to see things in perspective. For this DDO a simple, clear photo of the obverse is sufficient to ID the DDO and see the very strong die marker cutting through the E of LIBERTY.
