Which means they are steel. Normal for that year. Are all three copper in color? Just post pictures of all three.

I think we are looking at 4 different coins.

The single coin you posted had a copper appearance. It is most likely copper plated.

The three 1943 coins pictured in the Whitman folder are normal looking steel cents.

It may have just been the lighting, there is a dark block on the left side of Lincoln's collar that matches both 1943P's shown.

I think there are only three, maybe the reflection of light made the one without a mint mark I first posted look copper...Im wearing a red shirt....Ill have to go back and check

The 44 is a nice looking coin. Maybe 63/64 red or red and brown.

In that condition it needs to be in a 2x2 or plastic capsule and not naked in your hand.
