Ok so I don't know how this would happen but this 1991-d LMC looks like it has a mint mark under Lincoln's shoulder to the right of V.D.B's initials. Any thoughts or info?

Looks like the plating was split, and now the zinc is rotting away. A spender. The clock is counting down on this coin.
