The Copper Miner New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 06/03/2019 11:26 am I ran across a 1968 S Lincoln Cent today that is exactly like this one... http://goccf.com/t/296167 It appears to have been struck 3 times also. My question is could both these coins be machine doubling/tripling or were the dies triple struck and there's more of these out there? Report this Post to the Staff

It is possible your coin was struck by the same die! and I am certain there are other similar MD's out there, plenty!. As our expert coop stated at the beginning of this thread: Quote: Looks like single classic Machine Doubling. They coins are only (normally struck once and ejected.
