Sorry to burst your bubble but it looks like strong Die Deterioration. No RPM here IMOHO. Keep looking! -CH27

Could you back off the mint mark? Your photo is a bit too close.

I don't understand I can look at photos of mint mark errors and it will be a faint line and it will be called a D over D mint mark. There are 2 hoops going through the center of the original D and its called Die Deterioration. How is it that you make your calls because I am not seeing it right I guess. Its definitely not flat and shelf like that people talk about it being machine. Any help on how or what your looking at for markers would be appreciated.

This is the 1954 D over S mint Mark from Ken Potters book. I see 2 hoops in mine and only one in this photo from the book. It looks like the Die Deterioration being mentioned in mine. It confuses me on what I am supposed to look for.

Everything is fading towards the rim, worn out die.

Your coin is Die Deterioration, not a repunched mintmark. These extra "hoops" are just coincidental, some are just glare from your lighting, others are just the smeared metal from Die Deterioration. You should look for raised lines that are not apart of the main mintmark, don't look for flat doubling or this smearing effect with strong die flow towards the rim. And be careful, strong lighting and glare that are in your photos can cause the illusion of doubling or repunching that isn't actually there.
