This caught my eye and I had to zoom in on it.

The circular ring to the right of Roosevelt's bust is a raised line and is the same radius as a dime when placing another dime atop of it.

I hope that the photos demonstrate the raised feature.

I'd appreciate any and all opinions on what caused this.

Looks like damage to me. Maybe a scratch?

Thank you for your prompt reply!

If it is a scratch on the coin, wouldn't it be a recessed line? If it was a scratch/gouge on the die it would leave a raised line on the coin, right? Novice asking, here.

I see a raised line with the light highlighting the peak of the line and casting shadow to one side of the line.

I can't tell whether it is raised or incuse from the pics. It looks to be more incuse to me. It's not a die crack because it's too perfect. I'm not sure of damage, either, because again, it is a very regular arc, but the rim shows no damage like another dime was smashed against it.

If the arc is incuse, I might guess struck through debris.

Is it the same arc as a dime? Maybe an incomplete blank punch?

I find this one interesting. It doesn't appear to be a scratch because it looks like it is raised. What would cause it I have no clue. Maybe someone with more knowledge than me can chime in.

Lol I guess I misunderstood. I assumed it was meant as a scratch on the coin

Not any of the above. It is a stain from another coin in a cup holder.

If it were damaged, there would be an incuse mark on that area of the coin. If it were an partial cut planchet, there would also be an incuse mark.

But this coin is normal with a stain on it.
A die gouge would be a raised mark on the coin:
