I found this in a bunch of coins I inherited. Would like to know what it is I'll post pics and go from there. It weighs 31.09g and the specific gravity is 10.47 which to me confirms that it is indeed silver. Any input is greatly appreciated.

Not a coin. It is a silver bullion round.

Thank you John! Is this round worth anything more than it's bullion? I'm assuming not since it is not a coin but I'm curious.

I'm not aware of any silver bullion rounds that sell at a premium. Silver is in a slump right now, so I would recommend holding it until it's back at $20/oz at least.

@JM, from a quick search of the interwebs, it looks to me like the manufacturer of this silver round is Crown Impressions. Their more recent stuff seems to be dragon-focused, but they may have had a panda series at one point as I am seeing a few other panda designs.

One other thought: I see a series of parallel scratches on the surface of this round. In this particular case, the value is intrinsic to the metal alloy (.999 silver); however, for much of your inheritance, those scratches could be a problem. I'm not saying that you have been or plan to clean up any of these coins, but if that thought does cross you mind, please don't. Even if you see spots or corrosion or something that looks easily cleanable, best would be to post it here and let us try to recommend a pathway forward.

Spence,
Thank you for the info I appreciate it! I have a feeling you are correct in your estimation on the coinage. Never the less I will continue the search I would hate to have a rarity and let it go at bullion prices. I realize that cleaning a coin is very very bad for the condition and I won't even attempt it lol thank you again!
