Light reflection of the top of the crossbar of the 'T' and the lower part of the circumference of the indent suggest this. Instructive pictures. That it may be an error or PMD, is a moot point. I have seen confirmed error proofs before. I suspect post strike accidental damage at the Mint (no way of really knowing), but there is also the possibility that it may have happened outside the Mint. Report this Post to the Staff
mikediamond Pillar of the Community United States 2737 Posts	Posted 06/20/2019 4:49 pm As with the Ike dollar, this is a solid disc and not a ring. So it can't be a die ring. It could be some surface contaminant, a struck-through error, or a stain. It would be helpful to know if it's raised, incuse, or flush with the field. Error coin writer and researcher.
