Is it to anyone acknowledge that there were any nickels minted by any other material than copper and nickel? If anyone has any insignt on this question I would great appreciate.

All nickels since 1946 are copper-nickel. As suggested, pics may help and also the weight of the coin.

I would not expect a 1993 P to be bogus, so I am curious as to what the situation is with your coin.

If the coin is thinner, that can affect the sound. What is the weight?
