The Pan-American Exposition was a World's Fair held in Buffalo, New York in 1901. I found this gold colored souvenir coin in a mixed box of old medals at a dealers table at the Coin and Stamp Show in Dedham, Mass.

Perhaps this coin was sold as a souvenir at the fair? Please post any information you may have about this item.

If you have any Pan American Exposition related items, I would really enjoy seeing some pictures of them.
Some Pan American Exposition commemorative stamps and covers are posted here.
