I know you're probably fed up with this, it's the last one for now. Looks like a normal Hungarian coin, doesn't it? Not how I got it. Once I've bought a handful of junk seeing that some mad people were actually bidding on such stuff on the net. Remember the "List the worst coin" thread? The 4 kreuzer that I posted was there. Along with a bent Austrian, damaged Canadian, three Belgians - one green, one zinc turned white, one removed from jewellery, an unusually worn Spanish 1 Pta, a slug.. that kind of crap. And this. The only seemingly problem-free coin. I was really happy as I never saw it before, till I looked it up in the ancient Krause. $50.00 in Fine (I know it's grade is ~Good, but still)? What kind of joke is that? First thought - another ****** FAKE. What I mean is - that shouldn't be there. Or am I missing something, looking it up in a wrong way? Or is there a mistake in my Krause and this is a normal $2 coin and there's nothing to worry about? Can anyone check it in a less dated catalog? The coin has a B mintmark under the head on the obverse. It looks like this:

Looks okay in my Krause. How about the weight - 3.89Gr. How does the obverse look - can we see it? And you are right $50 in my Krause - 49,000 minted pretty rare Good pickup

O so the new Krauses give a mintage figure , in my book it's just "-" Thanks for the additional information! (It's already dark here, so the photo will come tomorrow, photos by daylight are much better).

I have one just like it, but it is 20 instead of 10 and 1846-B mint. Mine looks XF but greenish color.
I didn't get the mintage since my school's library had an old version of the Krause book.
I can give a picture if you all want to look..

Sure, if it isn't a problem, I'd like to see if the style of lettering looks the same. This often gives fakes away.

Thanks.
The details are good, but the obverse has some discoloration and both sides have a green tint to it.
