1957 Uncirculated $1 Silver Certificates (Serial Number Important?)

I have these two silver certificates, I didn't remove them from the plastic sheet protection because I don't know if it lowers the value to handle them? Are they more valuable due to the serial number?

No, the serial numbers are consecutive but not fancy. Maybe a bit interesting but no added value.

And, it's OK to remove the notes from the sleeve for inspection as long as you're careful and put them back in the sleeve afterwards.
