2002 Penny, Perfectly Round Divot - Coin Community Forum

myradar21 New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 06/23/2019 11:55 am Hello, this penny has a divot in the Lincoln memorial and a protrusion of the same size on the "E Pluribus Unum". The rim is also worn down to what I suspect is this just the zinc showing. I suspect neither was mint damage but not sure, what do you think? Thanks! Report this Post to the Staff

Both the worn rims and those "divots" are just damage unfortunately.
